Contemplating design and impact of good UI, came across an article in May’s Technology Review magazine where it profiled Bill Moggridge.  An  industrial designer and co founder of Ideo, he probably as some domain expertise


Recently wrote a book called “Designing Interactions”. He discusses finding latent user needs. Key to good design is finding their desires, their psychology and obviously their interests.  Also touches on three phases of adoption: enthusiast, professional and consumer.
